Before purchasing from a designer, download AND stitch out one of their sample designs that is similar in style to what you would like to buy! You will be amazed at how many designs, that turn out all right in the end, have weird stitch sequences, unnecessary jump stitches and other irritating quirks that make you go back again and again to your tried and true favorite designers.
