If you are going to do embroidery for the public, it is a good idea to create a form on which the customer has to spell out the name, etc. they want placed on a garment. You can even have small blank shirts, pants, hats, etc. drawn on the form so they can mark where they want the designs placed. That way there is no question as to whether you finished the piece as per their instructions.
