Machine embroidery can be intimidating at first...so getting information can make the learning process much easier. Ideally, you can have a friend come over and teach you one on one, as well as be just a phone call away if you run into a jam. Next best would be to take lessons and participate in clubs offered from your dealer. Reading the manual that came with your machine should be top on your priority list, and there are several books published that are packed with information and tips to help out. Do not overlook the power of your computer to access information! Many machine embroidery websites offer beginner tip pages, but best of all are message boards, where you can post a question and get lots of answers from someone who has been there and done that before! In other words...jump in and try it!
