Lace Cuffs

Computer and machine embroidery tip! *

I love to add a lace cuff to my fancy blouses. By pinning some water soluble stabilizer to the cuff and extending it to 1 inch beyond the bottom of the cuff, I can use the continuous embroidery hoop to sew a lace design on both the edge of the fabric and beyond in the free air. I make historical costumes for wearing in the Society for Creative Anachronism and this adds an authentic look to the gowns and is beautiful besides.
