Saving Solvy

"Save scraps of solvy [that is the water soluble stabilizer that looks like plastic]. These can be used to stiffen free standing lace project like baskets etc. Simply put them in a bowl and dissolve them in cold water, then use this solution to dip your lace project into. Dry into the correct shape by draping over a bowl for instance, or something appropriate. You will be left with a beautifully stiffened lace project! "
