Is the baby fairy set the Friday freebie, or am I reading this wrong?

How??? Where's the link? Thanks!

Hi Linda -
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we post a set of designs that are free for 7 days. When the next Monday set is posted then the one that was free the previous Monday is no longer available. Etc with Weds and Fri setss. So if you're looking at a "Friday Freebies" post that is more then 6 days old - it's no longer a free set here.
These sets continue to be free to our website members on our website. The Monday ones are from Nita and are on her website www.nitasplace.com while the Weds and Fri sets are from Holly and are available at www.artisticthreadworks.com

Yeah. But Larry, every time I click on a pic of the baby fairies in one of the last couple bobbinbuzz newsletters, I end up on the main page of categories (http://www.artisticthreadworks.com/public/800.cfm) and the fairies are not on either the page of bonus, sample or "this week" designs.
So, where are they?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"in one of the last couple bobbinbuzz newsletters"... is the key.
Free designs are free for 1 week. If you look at Freebies from a couple weeks ago - they aren't in the "samples" folder anymore so they're no longer freebies.

Unable to download freebie Baby Fairies. Received letter on Friday--could not down load on Sunday.

HI. i HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADING SOME FREE DESIGNS, BUT DID NOT FIND THEM IN MY COMPUTER. What do i do ? I use PES file. Thank you.
xoxo Rose

Hi Rose -
The trick is to watch where you are saving them TO on your computer, then go to that folder. They will be there! The other choice is to use the SEARCH feature built into Windows. It will locate the PES file for you.

How do i do to convert jpg files to PES?
Thank you.
Rose

Hi Rose -
It's not quite as easy as that. You can "convert" a picture from jpg format to another picture format like gif by using graphics editing software, but to turn a picture into an embroidery design there's more to it than a "conversion". The process is called "digitizing" and it's where you use the jpg as a guide for where you'll put stitches with your digitizing software.
Digitizing software costs anywhere from $500 on the low end to $2,000 on the high end for "home" software. Commercial software costs from $18,000 and up and includes a few extra features.
If you're a member of ArtisticThreadWorks you can read a series of articles called... "Buying The Right Digitizing Software". It's a 5-part series of articles and starts on this page... http://www.artisticthreadworks.com/members/1817
