" I love using the cones of thread because they go so much further then the spools. If you do not have the thread stand you can put your cone in a large mouth empty instant coffee jar. It keeps the cone upright and the thread coming off like it should. I also use the small spool spindle to put the thread to the outside where it will stay in the guide. "
