ME Tips: "Solvy Sippy Cup"

" When I use solvy on top of my embroidery , I pick it away with tweezers as close as I can get to the design. I still have little bits in corners, so I take a small paintbrush with the foam tip on the end of it and dip it in water and dab at the solvy. I use a sippy cup. Then you can sprinkle on the foam tip and I don't worry if I knock it over... "

MARY JOSEPH:

the tip on the water in the sippy was good
I use a wet Q-tip to get the hard to remove toppings

Muriel Kammermeyer:

Hi, I have a question about the tip "For 'in the hoop' embroidery projects that require elastic, I use fabric pens to color the elastic to match the fabric. I've been doing this for years " I have never seen embroidery designs that call for elastic. Can you clarify this for me. Thanks, Muriel in MN

I haven't said thank you yet for the beautiful designs you share with us for free!

It stretched my budget to get the machine and laptop and I appreciate your generosity!

Thank you,

Sherry Moore

I have arthritis just starting in my right hand and wow, that smarts! That little round tool they give you to use on the hoop and needle changer is not my idea of a tool. It's very hard to get at things comfortably. Today I went into the kitchen and grabbed the rubber jar opener and yes! No more tool for me that jar opener is the easiest way I have ever found to tighten or loosen anything on my hoop or machine. You may want to give it try one day it makes a big difference. I don't know if you have already gotten this tip from someone else and if you did a reprint can help not hurt. Happy stitching all.... ladibird - I bet even a rubber glove may be as good I don't know.
