Larry, do you know anything about Babylock Ellure BLR machines? I believe my top thread tension is too tight and have no idea how to loosen it. With the presser foot up, you can feel it drag as you pull the thread through. I've looked in my manual, and it completely baffles me. Must be my advanced age. LOL. Actually 58, almost 59, is not so old. Thanks for any help you can give. Kaye in TN

It sounds more likely that you're not getting it threaded through the tension disk properly. I'd suggest a trip to your dealer for assistance in this case. If it's not a technique issue then it's a problem with the machine.
