M.E. Tips: "Making Notes"

" When doing a design, I try to follow the color guidelines very carefully. Occasionally I find that I wonder - what were they thinking??? When I make a color change on my designs, I make a note in my design notebook about the color change and WHY I did the change. Later, I cannot always remember why I would go against the designer and question my change. The info helps me understand why I did what I did. Additionally, if I have the opportunity to make a pair or sequel for someone, they will match the original. Changes can be fun and challenging! "
