M.E. Tips: "Snippets Fly Away"

" I have so much thread snippets that I wanted to do something creative with them. I began keeping them with the help of a piece of double faced tape. Nothing new there, but, when I had accumulated a handful, I took the tape and made a 'tassel' sort of thing and placed the taped part into a large black clip (like you use in an office for papers). I hung the clip on a small nail on the back porch and enjoyed watching the birds remove pieces for their nest. I got an added bonus because I could see where the birds were taking the snippets to and watched as the babies were growing and eventually left their 'artistic threads' nest. My grandchildren enjoyed the event too! "
